At HC TOOLS, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by HC TOOLS and how we use it.
We are deeply committed to your privacy. A significant majority of our tools process your data entirely within your own web browser (Client-Side Processing). This means that when you format JSON, encode Base64, validate an IBAN, or minify CSS, the text or file you input never leaves your device. It is never uploaded to our servers, and we have absolutely no access to it.
For a select few tools where client-side processing is technically impossible (e.g., extremely complex file conversions), files may be temporarily uploaded to our secure servers. In these cases: Files are transmitted using secure SSL/TLS encryption. Files are automatically and permanently deleted from our servers shortly after processing is complete. We do not look at, mine, or extract data from your uploaded files.
HC TOOLS follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.
